Speak Life (Jan 12, 2017)

I have been reminded lately of the importance of positive confession and speaking life into dead places. And today it dawns on me while reading Genesis that God spoke creation into being. He didn't necessarily create in the physical sense that we create things, rather he said; let there be light, land stars and sea. Even many of Jesus' miracles were spoken; when he told the centurion that his servant was healed, when he called Lazarus out of his tomb, even the forgiveness of sins came from His spoken word.

Father, please help me to further understand the importance of speaking out - and please give me the words to say. May Your Spirit rest upon me, as it hovered over the deep in the beginning. And may I be used by You to speak life and truth in all I do.
